Online Teaching Assistant | $98/hr | Remote

Position: Teaching Assistant – Postsecondary

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $49–$98/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Support instructors with course materials, assignments, and online learning resources.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on student work and discussions.
• Facilitate and moderate online discussions while responding to student inquiries.
• Assist with grading, tracking student progress, and preparing academic reports.
• Offer academic guidance to help students understand course content and expectations.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging virtual classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant academic field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in online learning platforms and digital collaboration tools.
• Experience supporting postsecondary students through tutoring or academic assistance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setup.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
