Location: Remote, USA Contract Length: 12-month contract Employment Type: W-2 only Pay Rate: $55 to $60 per hour Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States Residency Requirement: Must currently reside in the United States Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Build interactive reports and data visualizations based on business requirements. Develop and maintain Power BI data models. Write and optimize DAX calculations, measures, and calculated columns. Develop Power Query transformations using M. Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud-based systems. Create efficient data models using relationships, hierarchies, and dimensional modeling. Work with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements. Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions. Perform data validation and ensure reporting accuracy. Troubleshoot performance issues with Power BI reports, datasets, and dashboards. Optimize reports and data models for performance and scalability. Develop and maintain SQL queries for reporting and data analysis. Publish and manage reports and datasets within Power BI Service. Configure scheduled refreshes, workspaces, permissions, and access controls. Implement Row-Level Security when required. Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, calculations, and reporting processes. Work closely with data analysts, developers, business teams, and other stakeholders. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional Power BI development experience. Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Strong knowledge of DAX. Strong experience with Power Query and data transformation. Strong SQL skills. Experience building dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations. Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling. Experience integrating multiple data sources into Power BI. Strong understanding of data validation and reporting accuracy. Experience troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Must reside in the United States. Must be authorized to work within the United States. This position is available on a W-2 basis only.
