Year 2 Teacher – Nuneaton

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Nuneaton to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full-time role with a October 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong focus on early reading, phonics and developing independent learners. You will join a supportive Key Stage 1 team with opportunities to work collaboratively on planning and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
• Develop pupils’ reading, writing, phonics and mathematical skills
• Assess learning and provide appropriate intervention where required
• Create a positive classroom environment with clear expectations

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
• Proven experience in Primary Education
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
